One lovely sunny weekends morning I found my 6 months old ICOM IC-7000 is not turning on. Something is wrong, when I press the power button, there were only a relay clicks followed by another clicks seems the relay disengaged it self. There was no display or sound. First thing I check are the two external fuses and one internal (behind the control head) fuse and seems all are fine. I checked my combine P/S & battery voltage level, nice 13.8V. Next thing I did is remove all cables from the radio and left it untouched overnight, next day connected the radio, but again no luck.
কিউ এস এল কার্ড সাধারনত দেখতে ভিউকার্ড বা পোষ্টকার্ড এর মত। ব্যাবহৃত হ্য় রেডিও স্টেশন এ, শ্রোতারা সিগনাল রিপোর্ট পাঠালে তার উত্তরে এই কিউ এস এল কার্ড পাঠানো হ্য় রেডিও স্টেশন থেকে। অনেকটা Acknowledgment বা সার্টিফিকেট এর মতো।
সারাদিন কাজ শেষে বাড়ি ফিরে একটু ফ্রেশ হয়ে বসে পড়ি রেডিও টা খুলে, এদিক সেদিক নব টা ঘুরাতে থাকি, ভেসে আসে হরেক রকম শব্দ। ১৫ মিটার ব্যান্ড টা তে কিছুই নাই, ২০ মিটার ব্যান্ড টা তে বেশ কিছু ষ্টেশন শোনা যাচ্ছে, ৪০ মিটার আরো রাতে পাওয়া যাবে। ঘুরে ঘুরে কিছু জাপানি, কিছু ইওরোপিয়ান, মাঝে মাঝে ভারতিও ষ্টেশন শুনতে থাকি চা নাস্তার সাথে সাথে।
না না, আমি দুর্গম কোনো পাহাড়ে কিংবা অতি অতি অজ-পাড়া গায়ে থাকি না, এই ঢাকা শহরেই থাকি, ঐতো আসে পাশের ফ্ল্যাট থেকে ভেসে আসছে ২০০৯ সালের বেহেস্তি আনন্দ- হিন্দি গান আর সিরিয়ালের সুমধুর আওয়াজ। নিশ্চয় ভাবছেন টিভি রেখে এই যুগে কেও রেডিও শুনে!! আমি শুনি, পৃথিবী যুরে আরো কোতো মানুষ শুনে, নাহলে এতো রেডিও ষ্টেশন কেন প্রচার করে?
আজ ১৮ই এপ্রিল ১১০০ইউ-টি-সি টাইম থেকে শুরু হয়েছে গ্লোবালসেট (গ্লোবাল সিমুলেশন ইমারজেন্সি টেষ্ট)।
সারা বিশ্বব্যাপি আ্যমেচার রেডিও অপারেটররা আজ ৩ টি রিজিয়নে ভাগ হয়ে রেডিও বা অয়ারলেসের মাধ্যমে সিমুলেটেড ইমারজেন্সি মেসেজ নিজেদের মধ্যে আদান প্রদান করবে ৩ঘন্টা ব্যাপি। এই সিমুলেশন এর উদ্দেশ্য ইমারজেন্সি সময়ে বিভিন্ন রেডিও ফ্রিকুয়েন্সি কোনটা ভালো কাজ করে কোন কোন স্হানে তা টেষ্ট করা এবং ইমারজেন্সির জন্য নিজেদের প্রস্তুত করা।
